The 2016 Q2 Production and Management Review and Cost Analysis Meeting of San’an Optoelectronics kicked off in Xiamen in the morning of July 16. Deputy General Manager Wei Daman presided over the meeting. At the meeting, the Finance Center and the Planning Center made analysis and report in respect of production and cost in the first half of 2016 respectively; subsidiaries and other centers also reported their own efforts in production and management in the first half of 2016 and the working strategies for the second half of 2016; Chairman Lin summarized the meeting. The meeting fully affirmed the great improvement of benefits brought about by the introduction of 4-inch chips  in the first half of 2016 and the significant reduction of procurement cost due to the introduction of second suppliers. Meanwhile, the meeting also affirmed the progress and achievements made by the Planning Department of Technical Center, the Quality Control Center, Xiamen San’an, Anrui Optoelectronics, etc. According to the meeting, while priority should still be given to cost reduction and technical upgrading in the second half of 2016, the research and development of new technologies and the forward-looking products should also be promoted as soon as possible. The meeting called on all employees to work more closely together with a full-picture view and strive to bring more vitality and innovations to San’an Optoelectronics.
